ABOUT
Karma Tashi Jungné is a Tibetan Buddhist sangha within Vajrayana Buddhism, connected to the Karma Kagyu school, linked to the Bokar Ngedon Chokhor Ling monastery in Mirik, India. Since September 2023, we have been gathering weekly in Leuven, Belgium.
On November 19, 2025, in the presence of Khenchen Lodoe Thonyor Rinpoche and Bokar Rinpoche, our sangha received the name Karma Tashi Jungné. Tashi signifies good fortune, blessing, and auspiciousness, while Jungné means source, origin, or matrix. Together, the name points to a place where blessings, insight, and inner growth can arise and flourish.
Since March 2024, we have been a member of the Lifestance Network of the KU Leuven, contributing to a pluralistic and contemplative presence within the university community.
The core of our practice consists of the Chenrezig Sadhana and silent meditation. Through these practices, we cultivate compassion, wisdom, and inner peace. We create a space centered on simply being together — a place to slow down, become still, and explore the nature of the mind.
Karma Tashi Jungné welcomes anyone seeking peace of mind, compassion, and wisdom. We offer an open and inclusive environment where no labels apply — regardless of age, gender, or background. Here, there is space for contemplation, introspection, and reconnecting with what is essential.
